Welcome to the very first Wappenham Farm blog!

We thought it was about time we had a little corner of our website where we can share what’s happening on the farm, give you a peek behind the scenes and keep you up to date with everything we have planned throughout the year.

If you haven’t visited us before, Wappenham Farm is a family-run farm in the Northamptonshire countryside, near Towcester, Brackley and Silverstone. For most of the year we’re busy working behind the scenes, but come autumn and Christmas, the farm is transformed for two of our favourite times of year.

🎃 Autumn at Wappenham Farm

October means one thing at Wappenham Farm… pumpkins!

Our Pumpkin Farm Festival returns this October, with our biggest pumpkin patch yet and plenty more to discover around the farm.

We grow our pumpkins here at Wappenham Farm and there’s nothing quite like seeing the patch full of pumpkins ready for families to explore.

But a visit is about much more than choosing your perfect pumpkin.

This year you can:

And for those who fancy visiting once the sun starts to disappear, we also have our Twilight Farm Event.

The farm takes on a completely different atmosphere after dark, with pumpkins by moonlight, spooky surprises, live entertainment and plenty of family-friendly Halloween fun.

Our Pumpkin Farm Festival opens on 10th October 2026, with selected dates throughout October.

🎄 Then Comes Christmas…

Once the last pumpkin has left the patch, there’s not much time to rest!

Wappenham Farm begins its transformation into our traditional Christmas wonderland, opening from 14th November 2026.

Christmas at the farm is one of our favourite times of year.

You can wander through rows of beautiful Nordmann Fir Christmas trees, browse our Christmas Shop filled with decorations and gifts, enjoy festive food and drinks and soak up the atmosphere of Christmas in the countryside.

And, of course, there’s someone very special to visit…

🎅 Santa’s Grotto at Wappenham Farm

Our Santa’s Grotto is designed to be a magical and traditional Christmas experience for children and their families.

From being welcomed by the elves to meeting Father Christmas himself, we want the whole experience to feel special – not simply the few minutes spent with Santa.

There’s also Santa Paws, giving four-legged members of the family the chance to enjoy a little Christmas magic of their own!
