Family pumpkin picking at Wappenham Farm

Our Story

Our story. . . .

Rectory Farm was taken on by David's Grandad back in 1928! The farm was a mixed farm with dairy & crops and heavy horses were used to farm the land. David is the third generation to farm here and soon realised that diversification was the way forward.

Our farm now grows Maize & Rye for a biodigester plant at Helmdon (less than 5 miles away) & produces gas for the National Grid.  We also grow Fodder Beet that is used as sheep feed and supplied to local farms.
We started selling a few Christmas trees back in 2014 and we soon discovered how much visitors loved coming to our farm. In 2020 we grew sunflowers & pumpkins and the Wappenham Farm Seasonal Events enterprise was born! We now attract thousands of visitors each year and very proud with how our farm has evolved.

We look forward to seeing you on our farm soon,

David & Anette
